I am going to the motherland tonight...The mall. I'm excited. There's a sort of rush when I get out of my car and walk up to the front door of Saks.
I don't know what I'm going to buy yet. I want to try a Bliss face mask. But I need to learn to start saving my money and I don't think that buying a $40 face mask will be a good start to my decision to save money. And I need to check out the Prada bags at Saks and Neimans. I want to get my sister one for her birthday. I'm trying to decide between a Prada bag or one of those cute logo Coach bags. I wish I knew which she'd like more. It's always hard for me to buy presents for people because I always want to buy what I would want.

I do like serious quotes as well. The other day I made a list of inspirational quotes (or quotes I just liked and felt were true) to hang up on a board in my office. Here's a couple of them..

So true. I can't tell how much I've spent on books in the past couple of years. I have books sitting on my bookcase that I bought a year ago...just waiting in line to be read. Then at least once a week I have a package from Amazon.com with a new shipment of books. They're like a treasure.
It's one of my favorite things to do, reading quotes that is. When I read them, sometimes I see things I would like to say or have thought, but have had a hard time getting out into words.
It's cold here in California. It's 63 and I'm freezing. Brrrrrr...I have my space heater on under my desk and I'm about to shut my office door so I can heat this room up like an oven! I should probably also get some work done before the weekend begins...
